At this time there will be no masks required however that may change due to the different variants. Though masks are not required at this time if you would like your child to wear a mask they are certainly welcome to do so as the CDC is still encouraging non vaccinated people to wear masks. We will be allowing parents to stay in the studio room/hallway to watch classes during the 1st week of each month which is also when payments are due. Parents will be able to sit in the lobby during the remaining weeks of the month. At this time we will no longer be doing health checks so we ask that if your child has a temperature, is ill, or has been exposed to someone with Covid-19 you DO NOT BRING THEM TO CLASS. We also ask that if you or any member of your family tests positive for Covid-19 or is exposed to Covid-19 you notify us immediately for contact tracing purposes. We will not give out your specific personal information, just that someone in the class has or has been exposed to Covid-19.
If they would require us to shut down due to increase numbers we will have virtual classes. If you do not have the ability to log in to Zoom for the actual class, classes will be recorded and you will be able to download them to view while offline.
Please see below for more specific Covid-19 Policies
Please Do Not bring your child to class if they are sick or if anyone in your household has tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 10 days. Please notify us if anyone in your household has tested positive for Covid-19. We will notify any classmates that you have come in contact with but will keep your identity confidential.
1. All students should come to class already dressed in their dance clothes. Please place any warm ups in your dance bag. If you are coming to dance right from school you will be allowed to change in the bathroom.
2. Though it is not required to wear a mask at this time the MDHHS suggests non vaccinated people should wear masks in areas where you can not follow the 6 feet social distancing guidelines. If you choose not to wear a mask you do so at your own choice and risk.
3. Please bring their own water bottle and have it clearly labeled with the student's name. No sharing of drinks, food or snacks. Please keep all food items in your dance bag before and after eating.
4. Every time before and after entering the dance studio, everyone must sanitize their hands. Bottles of sanitizer will also be on hand in the dance rooms as well.
These new temporary rules are for the safety of all our dancers and staff. Please explain these new rules to your child. The health and well being of our students is most important to us. If we are patient and work together everything will flow smoothly and keep everyone safe for this is a temporary situation.
